Our goal is to wrap up any backward compatible new INT features and tag INT version 1.1 at the December 6 meeting, then take a break and start incorporating new features such as sink indication field and domain specific extensions in INT version 2.0 in the new year.

As of now, the only v1.1 eligible pull request is that of adding a new instruction bit to fetch buffer occupancy (https://github.com/p4lang/p4-applications/pull/55<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fp4lang%2Fp4-applications%2Fpull%2F55&data=02%7C01%7Cmhira%40vmware.com%7C08b8cd709e7644ceaf2a08d64a6d6af1%7Cb39138ca3cee4b4aa4d6cd83d9dd62f0%7C1%7C0%7C636778231186045583&sdata=k%2FffbV%2FYFzE%2FRSnLtUMzrH2MOoTNnyVHETTes9i6Eb4%3D&reserved=0>).

As per the discussion at the previous working group meeting, the scope of this change has increased to also support reporting of queue and buffer thresholds in the queue occupancy and buffer occupancy metadata respectively. We plan to close on this pull request at the 12/6 meeting.

If you have any comments on the above pull request, or if there is any other backward compatible feature you would like to include in INT version 1.1, please bring it to our attention or open a pull request on GitHub.

Following pull requests will be addressed in INT v2:

  *   INT in IPv6 extension header (https://github.com/p4lang/p4-applications/pull/56<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fp4lang%2Fp4-applications%2Fpull%2F56&data=02%7C01%7Cmhira%40vmware.com%7C08b8cd709e7644ceaf2a08d64a6d6af1%7Cb39138ca3cee4b4aa4d6cd83d9dd62f0%7C1%7C0%7C636778231186055593&sdata=ciQmhuEbENCGGkfjCD%2F2Wg%2BK1YwTI4KaP%2FctlT7fyvw%3D&reserved=0>)
  * Proposal for a Sink Indication Field in INT Header (https://github.com/p4lang/p4-applications/pull/57<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fp4lang%2Fp4-applications%2Fpull%2F57&data=02%7C01%7Cmhira%40vmware.com%7C08b8cd709e7644ceaf2a08d64a6d6af1%7Cb39138ca3cee4b4aa4d6cd83d9dd62f0%7C1%7C0%7C636778231186065597&sdata=Z47IjwP3Vty%2B9MJSV6b4DOLPMGvQ8mUfjuq9IJlY2So%3D&reserved=0>)
  *   Domain Specific Extensions (https://github.com/p4lang/p4-applications/pull/54<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fp4lang%2Fp4-applications%2Fpull%2F54&data=02%7C01%7Cmhira%40vmware.com%7C08b8cd709e7644ceaf2a08d64a6d6af1%7Cb39138ca3cee4b4aa4d6cd83d9dd62f0%7C1%7C0%7C636778231186065597&sdata=4ZHPlhqjKWFdRjEDbFxNSkXptijLcHafK64zCUKbcYE%3D&reserved=0>)
