discussion of p4 language ideas, tools, questions, etc. -- not related to direct code development
View all threadsDear P4 Community:
The Computing in the Network (COIN) IRTF research group will host a
P4Hackathon at IETF 105 in Montreal on July 20 and 21. The goal of
theHackathon is to give the COIN community a way to investigate
newapplications in P4 and develop prototypes of potential
newapplications. As of now a lot of P4 development has focused on
datacenters but we would like the Hackathon to address the
DC-edgeprogramming spectrum.
Topics of interest include industrial applications for faultdetection,
data filtering in streaming media, autonomous devices atthe edge and
distributed networking. Participants will be providedwith all the tools
necessary to create their application.
